In 2016, he presents&nbsp;A Country of Two - an experimental mosaic of found footage and photos, which had a successful run in film festivals, art venues and museums around the world (New Museum+Benaki Museum, Encounters IFF, Festival Des Cinemas Differents de Paris/Pompidou). Holder of 2018 Artworks Excellence Award by the prestigious Stavros Niarchos Foundation, his films have been screened in more than 200 film festivals around the world. Light of Light,&nbsp;a Slamdance Grand Prix winner; had its World Premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, nominated for a Tiger Short Award. In 2025, he unveils two new films: Noi and Electra7. Shot within an isolated community in northern Greece, Noi premiered at the Raindance Film Festival and went on to win the Golden Dionysus at Drama; a rare second Grand Prix at Greece’s most prestigious short film festival, carrying with it a place on the Academy Awards longlist. In the same year, Electra7 marked a bold collective experiment: commissioned by the Athens Epidaurus Festival for its 70th anniversary, seven of the country’s most vital cinematic voices reimagined Sophocles’ tragedy in a singular, medium-length work.
